   The Emerging Technology Co-ordination Committee (ETCC) carries out frequency co-ordination exercises to accommodate repeaters, gateways, beacons and packet radio stations in the limited UK amateur radio frequency allocations.
| VIEW NEWS ITEMSGB3SH - Our aerial team has been doing work on site, We found that the GB3SH aerial has a 9 to 1 SWR in the 2 meter band, and a 3 to 1 SWR on about 165 MHz. This commercial made aerial has been removed from site for possible return to the supplier, and we await an replacement. Meanwhile, we have raised the temporary dipole up to where the SH aerial should be! This is about a raise of around 10 ft / 3M ! reports are welcome! GB3SH is still on low power ERP due to the use of thin temporary feeder losses and the dipole /G4MYSGB7MT - is ON and has been so for some considerable time! It has however been on low power for some time. However the GB7MT and GB7PO link has been discontinued, due to burn out of the remote switching gear, and lack of financial support. /G4MYS Click here for historical News Items. | |
