| VIEW NEWS ITEMSGB7LO - BrandMeister London TG2358 Welcomes Two New RepeatersThe London amateur radio landscape just got a little tighter and a lot more connected. Over the last few months, a dedicated push has been underway to expand the footprint of the London TG2358 DMR User Group. The goal is simple: to create a robust, seamless Digital Mobile Radio (DMR) network across Greater London via BrandMeister Talkgroup 2358. Thanks to some serious behind-the-scenes teamwork, we are thrilled to announce that two more vital repeaters are now officially part of the Bromley Repeater Group (BRG) architecture. Please welcome GB7PS in Battersea and GB7XT in Mottingham to the network! Both repeaters are now fully integrated and routing traffic on Timeslot 2, anchoring a powerful local RF-to-IP grid for handhelds and mobile users across South and Central London. All this doesn't just happen overnight. It takes hard hardware, technical know-how, and hours of bench testing. A massive, heartfelt "special thanks" goes out to the core team who spent their time getting involved to make this link-up a reality: • Michael (2E0MRE): For his brilliant work on the software and code side. Michael spent bench-testing, configuring, and programming both of the Motorola DR3000 base stations to ensure they talk perfectly to the BrandMeister master servers. • Denis (G0OLX): For being the hardware wizard of the project. Denis generously supplied both duplexers, handled the incredibly meticulous job of tuning them, and custom-fabricated the patch leads connecting the duplexers to the base units. • Tony (G1HIG): For coordinating the efforts, driving the initiative forward, and keeping the London DMR community united. Updated Network Blueprint With these new additions, the growing South London RF matrix now includes: • GB7LO – Bromley (439.5125 MHz, CC3) • GB7HH – Romford (439.7500 MHz, CC3) • GB7PS – Battersea (439.6625 MHz, CC7) • GB7XT – Mottingham (439.5625 MHz, CC3) Whether you are running a high-power mobile rig or a 5-watt handheld transceiver, put the new repeaters into your codeplug, key up on TG2358 (Timeslot 2), and join the conversation.
